Institute Superior de Ciències Religioses de Barcelona
Aim
Promote the theological formation of the laity; promote dialogue between faith and culture; prepare religion teachers for schools; provide training to train the permanent diaconate and the various ecclesial ministries and services in the parishes, movements and communities of the Diocese.
History
The Higher Institute of Religious Sciences of Barcelona (ISCREB) is a public teaching institution of the Archbishopric of Barcelona, linked to the Faculty of Theology of Catalonia of the Sant Pacià University Athenaeum . It was born from the transformation of the previous Institute of Theology of Barcelona, in accordance with the regulations of the Congregation for Catholic Education of 1987 and the regulations of the Spanish Episcopal Commission of April 18, 1996. It was created on November 18, 1996 and its statutes were approved on April 7, 1997. It was re-founded on May 31, 2010 in accordance with the new Instruction on the Higher Institutes of Religious Sciences of the Congregation of June 28, 2008.

Institute offers a broad range of academic programs and courses, such as Bachelor of Religious Sciences, courses in Sant Feliu, courses at the School of Theology of Maresme, Master in self-knowledge, emotional transformation and spiritual worldview, course "Our Neighbours of other religions", Monastic Interreligious Dialogue, Master in Latin American Theology (virtual), Master Interreligious, Ecumenical and Cultural Dialogue (virtual), permanent training for teachers and religion's teachers
2. Institute offers special educational program for teachers of infant and primary education and secondary education and Baccalaureate. The DECA studies of the Institute enable individuals to teach religion to primary school for children dren and or Baccalaureate.
