Interreligious Activities and Initiatives
The role of women in promoting a culture of dialogue as a way of life in multi-religious societies
Women play a major role in society. We cannot deny their role in promoting a culture of dialogue, encouraging family and community dialogue, and promoting communication, love, coexistence and peace among the followers of different religions. The initiative is a series of workshops for students in universities and schools, which will be trained through interactive programmes such as theater, sports and reading, cartoon cards, etc. The learning strategies will highlight the importance of women’s participation in peace-building and dialogue and identifying problems that hinder women’s participation and propose solutions. The initiative will also include some religious site visits.
