IHRF organises a variety of conferences, gatherings, and youth summer camps to heighten world-wide cultural awareness and inter-ethnic sensitivity, e.g. their major event 'Kumbh Mela', a Hindu religious gathering that happens once every twelve years and draws millions from all over India and the world to the banks of the rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati, or the sponsoring of a huge interfaith gathering hosted at Parmarth Niketan in honour of Pujya Swamiji's 60th Janam Utsav, with the top leaders of the world's religions coming together in the name of environmental protection for world peace to discuss the crucial role that religious and spiritual leaders need to play in protecting and preserving the environment.
