Pacifica Institute was established in 2003 as a non-profit organisation.
IRD Activities
- Annual Dialogue and Friendship Dinners
Pacifica Institute established the tradition of Annual Dialog and Friendship Dinner in 2004. The Annual Dialog and Friendship Dinners are organized to contribute to the progress of intercultural-interfaith dialogue and peace. With the participation of esteemed guests and people from different faiths, cultures, and ethnicities, these gatherings have come to symbolize our desire to achieve a genuine cross-cultural understanding and cooperation
- The Blue Chair
The Blue Chair is an initiative by Pacifica Institute, under the slogan “Words by Experts”. The Blue Chair’s emphasis is on positive connections, interfaith dialogue, and mutual understanding but it has broad spectrum to include interviews on many social, scientific, cultural, and academic topics. The Blue Chair aims to address a wide range of topics within the expertise of its speakers based on their work, research and practice. The sessions are offered for free viewing online through Pacifica Institute’s website and YouTube page.
