His portfolio also included neighbourhood empowerment through community rights and the development of multi-faith celebrations to mark the First World War centenary, the Millennium and the Golden Jubilee of Elizabeth II. He most recently headed the Faith Communities Engagement team of the Integration and Faith Division in the Department for Communities and Local Government, before leaving Government employment in 2016 to start his own consultancy, Faith in Society. This social enterprise assists faith groups wishing to engage in civil society projects, through advocacy, strategy development and fund-raising support. For his work on inter-religious dialogue, Warwick was awarded the MBE in the 2014 New Year’s Honours list. He has continuously worked on inter-religious projects in private, consultancy and Trustee capacities.
