Aim

Its goal is to build a solid bridge between both countries and promotes an atmosphere of coexistence, tolerance, mutual respect, and world peace through dialogue. The foundation also carries Turkish language classes, has a women's platform and engages in various trainings, seminars, and talks.

History

The Catarata Foundation of the Chilean Turkish Friendship and Education was established in 2005 by a Turkish group and is part of the international 'Hizmet' movement dedicated to promoting dialogue, world peace and harmonious co-existence between different religions, beliefs, and cultures. Focusing on Chile, with its Muslim identity, it organizes and participates in instances and activities of interreligious and intercultural dialogue.
