• Interreligious Trips

  ir-reisen (9 institutions) offers trips and excursions in Switzerland and abroad with the aim of dialogue among cultures, religions, and confessions. The trips open up the view for current religious and cultural life of a region in a political, social, and historical context. They promote different understanding of religions and beliefs, and contribute to the communication in intercultural and inter-religious coexistence. An integral part of the trips are encounters (either with figures from religious, cultural, or political life, exponents of groups that do important work in the inter-cultural and inter-religious field, or by visiting places that represent formative stages of the dialogue of religions and cultures). The travels convey a respectful and responsible handling of religious, cultural, and political content. In addition, they are carried out according to the principles of environmental, social, and economic sustainability.
