Fraternity of Abraham
Aim
Promote the testimony that Jews, Christians and Muslims -fully respecting their religions and confessions- have decided to unite to become aware of their religions and its commonalities, since Abraham is their common spiritual and cultural heritage, but also to work together on the effective reconciliation of all those who in any way constitute the descendants of Abraham today and to free the world of evils such as hatred, fanatical violence, pride of race and blood, by revealing the true and divine sources of fraternal humanism.
History
The Fraterity of Abraham was created in 1967 following the Second Vatican Council (1962-1965) convened at the initiative of Pope John XXIII.
