Goldziher Prize Award
The Goldziher Prize is a cash award made possible by the generosity of The William and Mary Greve Foundation for work that contributes significantly to reverence, understanding and collaboration in common moral purposes between Jews and Muslims. The Goldziher Prize is awarded to scholars and activists working in the arena of interfaith relations. Past prizes honored the work of Mark Cohen (2010), Burton Visotzky (2012), Josef Meri (2014) and Daoud Abudiab and Bernard Werthan (2016). The 2017 Goldziher Prize for Journalists marked a new emphasis.
For the 2021/2022 prize, The Greve Foundation will inform awardees on April 15, 2022 and will make a public announcement on World Press Freedom Day Tuesday May 3, 2022.
