Dr. Hussein bin Ghazi Alsamerai is a member of the supreme body of the Iraqi Senior Scholars Jurisprudence Council for Dawa and Ifta'a, and the Chairman of Iraq Scholars Council in Samarra. He is also a member of the Peace and Moderation Committee based in Istanbul. An Imam and Preacher since 1986, Dr. Alsamerai is a University professor in Imam Al Adham Abu Hanifa Nu'man College. He has a PhD in Shariah Law, and a Bachelors’ and a Masters’ degree in Islamic Science, all from the University of Baghdad. He is a member of the Orphans and Widows Aid Association.
