Majeda Omar is the director of the Royal Institute for Inter-faith Studies in Jordan. She previously served as a Senior Researcher at Majlis El Hassan, (His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal Offices), Royal Hashemite Court, Jordan. She also chaired the philosophy department at the University of Jordan. She has published several research papers on pragmatism, epistemology, metaphysics, history and philosophy of science and philosophy of religion. Omar was a participant in the International Higher Education Interfaith Leadership Forum. She holds a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Edinburgh, where she specialized in contemporary Western philosophy.
