History

Established in 1912, the International Council of Jewish Women (ICJW) is an umbrella organisation representing Jewish women and women's organisations in 43 countries.

IRD Activities

  • Improving Interfaith and Intercultural Relations

    ICJW encourages interfaith dialogue at all levels, and its affiliates and representatives promote and participating in interfaith and inter-cultural events around the world, in order to further understanding between religions and ethnic groups. ICJW also works to monitor and combat racism, anti-Semitism and religious intolerance, and they encourage governments who have not yet enacted adequate legislation to combat these evils, online and offline, to do so.
