Aim

Envision empowered youth across the OIC region actualizing their full potential for the sustainable development of their communities, nations, and the world, driven by the Islamic values of cooperation, excellence and unity.

History

“Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum” (hereinafter referred to as “Forum”) is an international, non-commercial, non-partisan organization uniting leading umbrella youth organizations from the Member-States of the Organization of Islamic-Cooperation (hereinafter referred to as the OIC) as well as international youth organizations, operating in the OIC region and youth organizations representing significant Muslim minorities worldwide. The Forum was established at its Founding General Assembly held in Baku, Azerbaijan on 1 – 3 December 2004 in accordance with the resolution No.: 15/31-C adopted by the 31 st Session of the Islamic Conference of Foreign Ministers held on 14-16 June 2004, in Istanbul, the Republic of Turkey; and granted with the status of affiliated institution to the OIC by the virtue of the resolution No.: 3/32-C adopted by the 32 nd Session of the Islamic Conference of Foreign Ministers held on 28-30 June 2005, in Sana’a, Yemen.

  • Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum Startup Development Program

    Young Business Hub Entrepreneurship Investment Summit is open to youth entrepreneurs of the OIC Member States and Muslim minorities in Non-OIC Countries. ICYF welcomed applications of interested youth entrepreneurs for "Young Business Hub Entrepreneurship Investment Summit” organized wih a help of joint initiative of Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) affiliated to the Organisation of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in cooperation with the UNIDO ITPO Bahrain, in partnership with the Union of Arab Chambers. Individuals and teams from OIC countries could register their startup for an opportunity to pitch their initiatives and secure mentorship and financial support. The ICYF is aimed at coordination of youth activities in the OIC countries. The forum pursues its activities in five major fields: advocacy of youth interests, supporting sustainable development, promoting formal and non-formal education, strengthening moral values of young generation and engaging in the dialogue among cultures and civilizations. Selected candidates had an opportunity for networking sessions with 200+ investors, business angels, VCs and the best accelerators from OIC Member States and Muslim minorities in Non-OIC Countries.   • OIC Youth Capital

    This initiative was introduced by Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum in its 2nd General Assembly held on October, 2014. The initiative OIC Youth Capital aims at fostering inter-cultural and inter-civilizational diversity, better knowing one another as young members of OIC countries, uniting the youth of different OIC member countries and create solidarity, providing a platform for youth to introduce and promote their cultures and traditions, building communicational skills and developing themselves in international environment, living experiences of progress, education, entertainment, sports, art and participation to other fields, and turning up the Voice of Youth

  • Call for submission of project ideas

    ICYF launched a call for projects driven by young entreprenuers, students, representatıves of youth led organisations and active community agents. ICYF will fund and support the projects that aim to promote dialogue and cooperation, rebuilding communities and positively impacting the well being of the OIC states. The project submission is open to all young women and men in OIC states and participants can be members of a youth-led or youth-focused organization, project leaders or young entrepreneurs active in an established NGO. ICYF will support young ideas on sustainable development, entrepreneurship and anything correlated with positive contribution to our societies.
