Aim
Propagate the Dharma and help relieve suffering in the world, at the same time advancing the cause of world peace through interreligious dialogue.
History
When Dharma Master Hsin Tao formed the Ling Jiou Mountain Buddhist Society in Taiwan in 1984, he held in his heart the vision of a conversation that knew no boundaries. He saw a world united by love and forgiveness, forging alliances between different religions and nationalities.
IRD Activities
- Muslim-Buddhist Dialogue
The Museum of World Religions, location of dialogues and exchanges, opened in 2001 and was marked by the coming together of representatives of different religions from 34 countries. Also, a historic Muslim-Buddhist dialogue series has been organised, which to date has been held several times in different cities
- Interreligious Dialogue
Master Hsin Tao organises and attends dialogues with international religious figures.
