Aim

The YMCA aims to lead in the country the promotion of young volunteering and to be recognized nationally and internationally as a forging entity of leaders for the transformation and extension of the Kingdom.

History

The YMCA of Peru was founded in1920 as the initiative of the Peruvian engineer Ricardo Tiz�n y Bueno alongside the help of Dr. Jay C. Field, the first Secretary in Peru. The initial program combined educational, social and physical sports activities, recreational and general orientation.
