Biography Narrative

Dr. Alladein Adawi has been a professor of Islamic Studies and Hadith in the faculty of Shari’ah Since 2009. He is currently the head of the Department of Foundations of Religion and the Department of Islam in the Contemporary World at the University of Jordan. Alladein earned his PhD in Islamic studies from the University of Birmingham in 2009. His areas of interest include Islamic culture, Hadith, women in Islam, research methodologies in Islamic studies and orientalism, Islam and pluralism and Islam and interfaith dialogue.
