Activity: Structure and Needs

The Radio has to operate everyday like any other regular radio to target as many people as possible. However, it has to focus on the chosen issue to prioritize it. The aim of the radio is to offer an inclusive program that embraces its audience’s diversity. For example, if the show is hosted in a bilingual or bicultural country, it should be made sure that the chronicles and radio programs are offered in both languages; therefore, it would require a bilingual staff as well.

Objectives: Impact and Focus

Diversity and inclusion are very important aspects of this practice, therefore, the impact on the audience is wide, for it can broaden their knowledge and perspectives on religious and cultural inclusion as well as increase awareness on existing discriminations.  Since representation is necessary for any community, this practice would make listeners feel included, through someone representing their culture or a program addressing issues they are familiar with.
