Mohamedou El Jeyed
Biography Narrative
Dr. El Jeyed is the deputy dean of Mauritania’s University of Islamic Sciences in Balayoun. He holds a PhD in modern history from First Tunisia University and a master’s degree in history from Nawakshot University.
Dr. El Jeyed has been teaching at higher education institutions for more than 15 years and he is an expert in archival research in French, Tunisian and Senegalese archives.
He is actively involved in organizing and participating in seminars and conferences. He is also a member of committees tasked with preparing university curricula. He has authored articles in scientific journals such as Civilization Dialogue or Clash of Cultures and The Role of Dialogue in Determining the Relationship between Civilizations under Cultural Diversity, and Renewing the Islamic Discourse to Promote Dialogue.
