Arab Youth Forum for Interreligious & Intercultural Dialogue

Local communities in the Arab Region lack effective initiatives to support youth’s communication and dialogue skills within and out of formal and informal education systems, which results in intolerance and potential violence and exclusionary reactions.
Therefore, the initiators from Egypt, Jordan, Palestine and Lebanon have agreed to work together to collect and train Christian and Muslim youth from both genders on the topic of “The Other in Dialogue and Cooperation” by addressing the Christian-Muslim dialogue and training techniques and mechanisms of dialogue and communication, Highlight issues of diversity and pluralism of the community.
Through this initiative, the group aim to consolidate knowledge of the other among all participants, trainees and trainers, in order to create an extensive network of participants and open channels to activate dialogue skills among youth leaders
