Aim

Every 'Frohbotin' (Member of the 'Werk der Frohbotschaft Batschuns') tries to orient her life on behalf of Jesus: to bring the disadvantaged people good news and to work with them for a more just world.

History

Foundation in 1947, in Batschuns as 'Weltliches Institut' (secular institute).

    The Werk der Frohbotschaft Batschuns wants to treat people who are influenced by other environments, cultures, ideologies or religions, in an appreciative manner. They see this diversity in its wealth, but also in its hardship and hence intend to deal with it in the right way. Their activities include a Christian-Muslim Forum, the support of an Austrian Christian community in Istanbul, and the support of a multicultural school in Bolivia.
