Aim

Mobilise to faithfully live the message of God's love; nurture a common understanding of the faith; interpret and respond to challenges to human dignity; act prophetically in word, life, and service for healing.

History

Founded in 1958, Ibadan (Nigeria), on initiative of the then 'International Missionary Council', now Commission on World Mission and Evangelism of the World Council of Churches. Original title: Provisional Committee of the All Africa Church Conference. Constitutional Assembly: Apr 1963, Kampala (Uganda).
