NextGen TALKS is KAICIID’s youth-focused webinar series, creating space for young leaders, faith actors, educators and dialogue practitioners to explore the challenges shaping peaceful and inclusive societies. Launched during World Interfaith Harmony Week 2025, the series brings together practical experiences and diverse perspectives on themes including interfaith action, peacebuilding, climate responsibility, social cohesion and ethical, human-centred engagement with artificial intelligence. Through youth-led and intergenerational exchange, NextGen TALKS highlights how dialogue can help communities respond creatively and responsibly to an evolving world.

Youth Power Scouts in Action: Building Bridges Through Interfaith Dialogue for Peace: Breaking Barriers & Building Change, February 2025

Opening the February 2025 NextGen TALKS launch pilot series, this episode explores how scouting can serve as a powerful space for interfaith learning, youth leadership and community service. Through practical experiences from young leaders, it highlights how shared values, teamwork and dialogue can help build trust, inclusion and peaceful coexistence across faiths and cultures.

Youth Power for Peace: Breaking Barriers & Building Change, February 2025

This session highlights the experiences of a Kenyan youth peace advocate working at the grassroots level to strengthen trust, prevent conflict and support young people as active contributors to peace. It explores youth-led peacebuilding, collaboration with local security actors and the importance of challenging stereotypes about young people in Africa.

Yalla! Walking, Talking and Building Bridges, February 2025

This session features two young interfaith activists from Vienna who use walking, sport and open conversation to bring people of different faiths together. They share how everyday spaces can become opportunities to challenge stereotypes, build relationships and inspire youth-led dialogue.

Beacons of Hope: Youth-Led Interfaith and Environmental Peacebuilding, February 2025

This session explores how youth-led interfaith collaboration can advance environmental responsibility, social cohesion and peaceful coexistence. Drawing on experience in climate education and community action, it highlights practical ways young leaders can connect dialogue, sustainability and social change.

Conversations on the values, responsibilities and human connections that should guide change in a rapidly evolving world

Digital Bridges, Not Divides, May 2026

An intergenerational, interreligious and intercultural conversation on how shared values can guide the development and use of artificial intelligence. Exploring empathy, accountability, trust and responsibility, the webinar considers how digital technologies can be shaped in more ethical, inclusive and human-centred ways that strengthen peace and social cohesion.
