DR. CLARE AMOS
Director and Trustee, The Jerusalem and the Middle East Church Association
Former Programme Executive and Coordinator for the World Council of Churches’ inter-religious dialogue and cooperation programme, Clare Amos is currently a Director and Trustee for the Jerusalem and the Middle East Church Association. Before her work with the World Council of Churches, Clare was Director of Theological Studies for the Anglican Communion and coordinator of the Network for Inter Faith Concerns in the Anglican Communion (NIFCON). With great experience in the Middle East, she previously worked at St George’s College in Jerusalem, the Near East School of Theology in Beirut, and Westcott House, Cambridge. She has taught in the field of Biblical studies and has published two commentaries: Beginning Over Again: Through Lent with Genesis and the Gospels (2005) and Book of Genesis (2004). Clare studied at the University of Cambridge and Ecole Biblique et Archeologique Francaise (Jerusalem).
