Ecumenical Youth for a Peace culture
Aim
To carry out interreligious dialogue sessions based on the diverse experiences of faith that young people have and thereby impact society. It seeks to contribute to SDG 16 of the 2030 Agenda. Althougthe group began work in Lima, it aims to continue its work on a national level.
History
Ecumenical Youth for a Culture of Peace was established in 2019 as an initiative of the Lutheran Pastor Adita Torres, who was ther director of the "Ecumenical Service of Pastoral and Communication Studies - SEPEC". She sought to create a group of young people who want to work on ecumenical issues and seek advancement of peace issues. Actiities were put on hold for some time due to the outbreak of COVID-19, but activities resumed in November 2020.
