Raval Interreligious Group
Aim
The general objective is to promote intercultural and interreligious knowledge to help achieve social cohesion and coexistence in the Raval district through the interaction and joint work of the different cultural and religious communities that live in the neighborhood.
History
The GIR was created in 2001, but has been run by the Tot Raval Foundation since 2011. Currently, the group is made up of 15 religious, social and cultural entities interested in reflecting and working on coexistence and diversity in the Raval district to share knowledge and develop relationships between different religious groups, communities (immigrants and native) and, by extension, the population of the district.
