International Institute for Inter-Religious Diplomacy
Aim
Promote a respectful, scholarly and consensus building dialogue among the world's great religions, in particular between Islam and Christianity; publish papers, articles and books of interest in this field; act as an open forum for constructive dialogue among scholars, theologians and diplomats; organize an annual conference promoting scholarly and diplomatic dialogue.
History
The International Institute for Inter-Religious Diplomacy was established in 2008 as an autonomous institute within EUCLID (Euclid University), in accordance with the approved Statutes (Article VIII).
IRD Activities
- Academics
Scholars are invited to send their papers or article to consideration, review, and editing. Themes of special interest include: points of agreement between Christianity and Islam, studies of "A Common Word" and replies thereto, elements that are especially appreciated in another religion, religion and diplomacy, human rights and legal issues, book reviews, as well as avenues of social and legal harmony between Christians and Muslims in countries or territories where both groups are a sizable majority. Furthermore, 3IRD offers online degrees in inter-religious dialogue such as Master and Doctorate in Inter-Religious Dialogue and Diplomacy

Annual Conference: 3IRD organizes an annual conference on the theme of inter-religious diplomacy.
