ISESCO General Conference

The ICESCO General Conference takes place every four years. Under the patronage of H.E. President Abdel Fattah El‑Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the 14th Session of the General Conference was held in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt, on 8–9 December 2021.

The Conference brought together representatives of Member States, including ministers responsible for education, science, and culture, to review progress, adopt updated working documents, and define strategic priorities for the Organisation’s next phase.. Read the Official coverage here.

In February 2025, ISESCO announced that the 15th Session of the ICESCO General Conference will be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, alongside the Organization’s 46th Executive Council.
