Rhodes Forum Annual Session
Held since 2003, the Rhodes Forum seeks to promote a new culture of dialogue to facilitate a better understanding of the deep changes our societies are undergoing. Since 2016 it has been a key annual event organised by the Dialogue of Civilizations Research Institute (headquartered in Berlin).
The 2019 Rhodes Forum focussed on dialgoue towards shared narrative title “Global (dis)order: Towards dialogue-based worldviews” and was organised around three areas of critical global importance:
1) Sustainable economic development
2) Global architecture and global (geo)politics
3) Digitalised lives, ethical standards, and the revival of civility.
