Professor of Islamic Studies, Haifa University

Itzchak Weismann is Associate Professor of Islamic studies and former Director of the Jewish-Arab Center at Haifa University. He is also the editor of Sahar (Crescent) series of translations into Hebrew of major modern Islamic texts. His scholarship focuses on Salafism, Islamic movements in the Middle East and South Asia, Sufism, modern Islamic thought and interfaith dialogue.
