Youth Interfaith
Aim
Promote interreligious dialogue and cooperation through events and community service.
History
Founded in 2015, the Youth Interfaith is a youth-led organization that promotes interreligious dialogue and cooperation through events and community service. After Founder and Executive Director, Roann Abdeladl, personally experienced Islamophobia as a young Muslim - American, she realized the need for youth to understand and accept different religions. The organization started with students of three Abrahamic religions (Islam, Christianity, and Judaism). It has since grown to include other students of Muslim, Jewish, Hindu. Buddhist, Atheist, and Agnostic beliefs. Abdeladl’s goal is to continue to grow the organization by involving more youth of different religious backgrounds.
