Interreligious Activities and Initiatives

IRD Documentary in Finnish

My initiative was a documentary series about interreligious dialogue in Finland. The documentary is in Finnish, for the local people and educational institutes. I interviewed 5 actors in the field of IRD in Finland. Three of them were religious leaders of Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam. One of them represented Christianity and grassroot movements and the other one IRD co-operation in govermental level. I traveled with cameraman to interview the guests. I asked basic questions like: How they do IRD, What they expect from that, Who does it in their community, and some specific question regarding their background (grassroot, teacher, lobbyist, scholar, social worker). Every episode included: – Me telling before every episode what is dialogue, – the introduction of the guest of the episode – and the interview part. The documentary series will be published on my Youtube channel in December. The whole budget was used in the initiative.
