Rev. Eid Beshara
Biography Narrative
Rev. Eid Beshara is a Presbyterian pastor, he serves as the senior pastor of Ain Shams Evangelical (Presbyterian) Church in Cairo, Egypt. He also works as a part-time researcher at the Center for Middle Eastern Christianity (CMEC) at the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Cairo, Egypt.
Rev. Eid Beshara has a Bachelor of Theology degree from the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Cairo, a Bachelor of Law from Cairo University, and a diploma in ecumenism from the University of Geneva, Bossey Ecumenical Institute, a Master of Law from Assuit University, Egypt and a diploma of political and economic studies from Zagazeg University, Egypt.
Rev. Eid teaches Christian Arabic theology to Muslim and Christian students where he acknowledges the need for dialogue. He works to help both Christians and Muslims understand each other, and work together in peace-building.
Furthermore, he’s participated in local and international conferences and symposia, such as the Annual Manuscripts Conference, held annually at Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
