Biography Narrative

Tin Maung Htwe is a program Manager of Center for Diversity and National Harmony.  He also serves as a Board Director of New Myanmar Foundation for the advocacy and Part Time lecture of politics of Myanmar Institute of Theology. Mainly focusing on human rights, governance, and advocacy, he contributes various issues of Myanmar Human rights and peace.  He used to work several interfaith and social inclusion dialogues in Northern Rakhine. He holds a master’s degree in Social Science in Development Studies from City University of Hong Kong, B.A (Psychology) from Dagon University, Myanmar and was also a research fellow of Research Centre of Sustainable Development of Chiang Mai University, Thailand and a Professional fellow of YSEAL 2017. He has scholarly published several Human Right and sustainable development papers in Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Myanmar.

His motto is “LOVE is the only solution to all live the matter.”

Interfaith lesson book for youths

I discussed with KAICIID Myanmar alumina to draft of Lesson book on December 2020. Due to COVID restriction, we could do virtual zoom meetings for two times with Yangon and Mandalay participants. Later meet with other religious leaders for advice. I trained both MIT students in Yangon and other youths in Rakhine including Rohingya, Kaman, Rakhine and minority about interfaith lesson in June 2021. Later published books and distributed to 30 organizations in Yangon and Rakhine state.
