Promote peacebuilding.
Promote peace practices among different communities and empower communities to fight poverty from inside out.
Address a wide range of security-related concerns that encompasses politico-military, economic and environmental, and human aspects, including arms control, confidence- and security-building measures, human rights, national minorities, democratization, policing strategies, counter-terrorism, anti-trafficking measures and economic and environmental activities.
Urge and motivate all religious adherents in Myanmar to make concerted and conscientious efforts at promoting peace and harmony; promote the sharing of knowledge amongst religious communities, of their respective principles and values to build a peaceful and harmonious society in Myanmar and the world at large; create a forum for deliberating and articulating common interests and concerns; plan and implement collaborative actions based on shared moral commitments in Myanmar and worldwide; promote respect for unique traditions and differences in belief and action; and connect, liaise and cooperate with national and international religious bodies, organizations, communities and societies to promote and enhance lasting peace and universal harmony.
Transform the way the world deals with conflict - away from adversarial approaches and towards collaborative problem solving.
Proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom; Teach, baptise and nurture new believers; Respond to human need by loving service; Seek to transform unjust structures of society to challenge violence of every kind and to pursue peace and reconciliation; Strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the Earth.
Follow Jesus Christ in today's Church and world and take the Gospel message to the "frontiers" of faith, culture and civil society; Establish a right relationship with God, Establish a right relationship with One Another and establish a right relationship with Creation.
To work towards the unification of visions, perspectives and attitudes among Eastern churches, especially on issues related to Christian presence and witness in the Middle East and Muslim-Christian relations and to remove prejudices and barriers between churches, bringing together the vast majority of Christians and churches in the Middle East.
Build mutual trust and understanding through unique person-to-person programmes and activities in the region.
Work toward a more peaceful, more socially inclusive world, by building mutual respect among peoples of different cultural and religious identities, highlighting the will of the world's majority to reject extremism and embrace diversity; seek to operate in situations where it can contribute to broader efforts to ameliorate identity based crises and promote culturally sensitive development policies.
