Summit of IFAPA
The Interfaith Action for Peace in Africa – IFAPA is a pan African process initiated in 2002 during Africa’s first continent-wide inter-faith summit meeting of religious leaders from the 7 major Faiths in Africa namely; African Traditional Religions, Bahai, Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity Islam and Judaism. Leaders of these faiths constitute the IFAPA governing body called the “IFAPA Commission” which seats after every two years. IFAPA is genuinely rooted in the tested African traditions and approaches to peace making.
