Shape national approaches to transitional justice and reconciliation in Africa by drawing on community intelligence as well as macro-trend research and comparative analysis.
Commit to providing Africa with policy options based on result-oriented research while building capacities and intervening in conflicts spots to enable Africa emerge as a secure, peaceful and democratic continent where the principles of the rule of law and human dignity are respected.
Facilitate knowledge of Islam, through courses, conferences, and exhibitions; inform the public about the spiritual, intellectual, and cultural heritage of the Islamic civilisation, participating in current debates within the Muslim world; participate in the public debate in French society, acting as an interface with public administrations, the media, the research and education community, and civil society; encourage intercultural dialogue, working in partnership with Muslim institutions and mosques, promoting dialogue between cultures and religions, especially with Jews and Christians.
To Provide a platform for interaction between different Jain communities and organisations, where all sectarian traditions jointly promote the faith and engage in discussions amongst themselves, encouraging Jain unity to promote interfaith relationships to create a better understanding of the Jain faith and to acquaint the Jain community with other faiths. Create an awareness of the history, art, philosophy, and practices of Jain faith, including its relevance to today's world, particularly with regard to the respect for all living beings and the environment, provide opportunities for study of the faith, both at the community level and at institutions of higher learning, and to facilitate scholarly research on Jainism through the establishment of scholarships. Undertake the cataloguing and digitisation of Jain manuscripts and artefacts.
Promote the theological formation of the laity; promote dialogue between faith and culture; prepare religion teachers for schools; provide training to train the permanent diaconate and the various ecclesial ministries and services in the parishes, movements and communities of the Diocese.
Support a regional inter-religious Asian movement for justice and transformation that focuses on marginalised communities, confront the roots of violence, promote justice in the economic, political, and social spheres.
Establish inter-religious councils that serve municipalities, nations, and the United Nations; consult and collaborate to offer wisdom and guidance to social, political and economic leaders to advance peace, prosperity, and wholesome life at all levels.
Provide a credible and trusted platform for dialogue between people of different faiths; provide opportunity for information sharing between religious leaders on major governance and development challenges confronting Nigeria and how to better respond to these collectively; identify strategies and means of strengthening inter-religious relations at the community, state, regional and national levels; work out modalities for stemming the rising tension between Christians and Muslims; identify strategies for combating the Boko Haram challenge.
Critically examine our life and mission in the light of the Constitutions of the Order and of the Acts of the General Chapters in agreement with the demands and challenges of the Church in Latin America and the Caribbean; foster relations among the entities of the region, encouraging them to respond to the directions established by the Latin American and the Caribbean Episcopates and the Latin American Conference of Religious (CLAR), promoting the exchange of ideas, possibilities, and apostolic achievements; promote the process of getting to know one another and the mutual collaboration within the Dominican Family.
