To create social awareness among citizens of the world through campaigns, projects and activities; promote mobility in Europe where young people can experience and develop some intercultural dialogue with young people from other countries; Defend and promote the Declaration of Human Rights of United Nations; defend and promote the Convention of rights of children of United Nations; defend and develop of interests of women in the world; create opportunities among communities with fewer opportunities, migrants and disabled people; provide legal, logistic and educational support to indigenous peoples; create environmental awareness among citizens to fight againt the climate change, to protect the natural resources of the Mother Earth; support rural areas, to keep our cultural heritage and to maitain popular activities; protect and defend animals under human pressure or abuse.
The Lican Foundation takes part in Jesuit activities such as generating and participating in ecclesial and social processes of empowerment, promoting the dignity of life in the Mapuche lands, and forming connections with other people regardless of the presence of other institutions. The activities of the Lican Foundation are focused on the Mapuche area but are open to all.

This Chair specialized in religious and intercultural studies seeks, first, to develop intercultural dialogue to consolidate peace, mutual understanding, forgiveness and reconciliation.Second, to study the biological, psychological and spiritual potential that human beings have to build peace.Finally it aims to educate families and communities in mutual respect, dialogue, fraternal solidarity, cooperation, trust, justice, tolerance and peace.
