To accomplish this, UNFPA works to ensure that all people, especially women and young people, are able to access high-quality sexual and reproductive health services, including voluntary family planning, so that they can make informed and voluntary choices about their sexual and reproductive lives.

Build a world of peace in which everyone can live in freedom, harmony, cooperation and prosperity; advocate renewal of the United Nations, including a proposal that the UN create an interreligious council within its structures; implement its programs through a global network of Ambassadors for Peace; encourage all religions to dialogue and cooperate for peace based upon the recognition that human dignity derives from a universal divine source that is the basis of harmony and unification; offer relief and humanitarian programs, service-learning projets, character education and sports programs with a special focus on personal leadership and peacemaking skills.
