This proclamation of the Kingdom of God and the message of salvation is to Arabs, including Palestinians, and is expressed both through witnessing to the Gospel as well as through diakonia; serve the poorest of the poor and to care for people who have suffered long because of the difficult political situation in this area; serve the Palestinian people through education that aims to provide Christian evangelical instruction, quality training and peace education.
Follow the mission of proclamation and service; Christians are to witness to the saving work of Christ; Respond to his commission through establishing new churches, building schools and hospitals, undertaking health care programmes and development cooperation to bring relief to those in need.
Carry out joint missionary programmes; support member churches locally; stand by our members in crisis situations; raise its voice on behalf of its members; send co-workers to carry out missionary and welfare service at other churches; support the partnership work of our members; promote ecumenical learning; promote cross-cultural exchange; provide financial support to missionary and theological projects of our members; support social work and education; provide funds for programmes to combat poverty, promote justice and peace and preserve the creation in our member churches.
Support people who take responsibility for their future; promote self-empowerment; focus on strengthening local village structures and other groupings in which people are involved; motivate people in Switzerland to think about living conditions in the disadvantaged countries in the South.
Represent the common interests of member churches on a national and an international level; liaise with federal authorities on behalf of Swiss Protestantism; take positions on political issues and also comment on contemporary theological and ethical questions in its publications; represent its member churches in the World Communion of Reformed Churches, the Community of Protestant Churches in Europe, the Conference of European Churches and the World Council of Churches; maintain relations with partner churches in Switzerland and abroad, with the Jewish and Muslim communities, the Episcopal Conference, as well as with relief agencies and mission organisations.
Promote a platform of interaction and solidarity building; strengthen members' capacity to articulate their needs and priorities in peace building and conflict transformation; advocate on issues of peace, justice, reconciliation and human security; develop effective information sharing among members, partners, and others; promote FECCLAHA's institutional development and sustainability; facilitate fellowship among members.
Committed to contribute to an ever greater unity within the Catholic Church between individuals, institutions, associations, groups, and movements; establish fellowship and common witness with Christians of other Churches; achieve dialogue, shared activities, and the deepest union possible in God with those who follow other religions; dialogue and cooperate with people of non-religious convictions; dialogue with people engaged in the various fields of culture and human realities.
