The Lican Foundation takes part in Jesuit activities such as generating and participating in ecclesial and social processes of empowerment, promoting the dignity of life in the Mapuche lands, and forming connections with other people regardless of the presence of other institutions. The activities of the Lican Foundation are focused on the Mapuche area but are open to all.
Support the existence of the Lutheran communities in Italy, mostly with German members, who had to cope with the shortage of material aid from Germany after the dramatic post-war difficulties.

Express Christian faith through liturgical worship according to the Eastern or Byzantine Rite in accordance with the culture of the faithful and maintaining and preserving the dignity and beauty of the early Church; express faith in education through schools and college, in charitable assistance through homes for orphans, the elderly and the handicapped, hospitals for those in physical or mental distress and through relief work to displaced persons.

Build a diverse community of learners and seekers, empowering engagement with an interfaith library of world religion texts alongside a religiously and ethnically diverse community.
