Create a framework of reconciliation between the 2 peoples that takes into account that any peace agreement must include an infrastructure for the process of reconciliation; work towards an end to violence and towards achieving an accepted political agreement; influence the public and the political decision makers to choose dialogue and the path of peace over violence and war in order to achieve a just settlement based on empathy and understanding; avoid the use of bereavement for further violence and retribution.
Recognise the local impact of the global, and the global impact of the local; broaden our network to include international academic affiliates, finding synergies with research and study projects at centres and universities in other countries; engaged in identifying a range of projects, centres, and institutes around the world that also focus on the promise and challenge of religious pluralism; plan to get an overview of the architecture of this growing group of institutions.
Tell the biblical story in ever new and creative ways; Point to the redemptive work of Christ and the life-changing presence of the Spirit; Provide a place of sanctuary, tranquility and renewal in the name of the One who said, "I will give you rest"; Call for personal righteousness, justice and reconciliation in the Church and in the world and to hear, respect and cherish all God's children; Use God's gifts wisely and fairly for the good of all; Learn from one another and work together for the healing of the nations.
Eliminate all forms of intolerance and discrimination based on religion or belief.
Educate youth and adults both cross culturally and inter-religiously for global citizenship and peaceful coexistence; advocate for acceptance and respect for religious pluralism by the world's governing bodies; and actively continue to promote justice and tolerance.
The priority areas for action of the Three Cultures Foundation come from the Declaration of Barcelona; namely political and economic areas and cultural and social sectors. In addition, the Foundation has been working in the field of immigration. This issue was also included among its areas for action due to its paramount importance among the objectives of the 2005 Barcelona Summit. In short, the Three Cultures Foundation is conceived as a unique instrument for supporting the spirit of creating new horizons for the Mediterranean Basin countries. These new horizons would involve the establishment of peace, stability and progress areas on both sides of a Sea which has been the cradle of multiple civilizations.
Develop an immense body of policy related to social, political, and ecological issues. These policies speak of how to live out their faith in light of the challenges the world faces at any given time.
Preserve the identity of Muslim youth and help overcome the problems they face in modern society; educate and train them in order for them to become active and positive citizens in their countries.
