Bring together a wide range of women of faith around the world to promote their leadership, coordinate strategies and pool resources and capabilities for cooperative action for peace; enable women of all faiths to communicate and learn from each other; build bridges and partnerships between faith-based women's organizations, secular partners, international agencies and the United Nations.
Develop as bodhisattvas and realise Shakyamuni Buddha's message: all beings are on this Path and to bring peace to our families, communities, countries, and to the world.
Execute its founder's will in a contemporary form; promote public welfare and the development of civil society; be politically and denominationally independent and dedicated to the democratic community; tackle social challenges; make forward-looking suggestions and put them into practice in an exemplary manner; be open to change, work flexibly, and act in a practice-oriented manner; encourage people to take responsibility and assists them in doing so; help people help themselves; support people with its own programs and bodies, and fund model projects run by other organizations; fosters understanding between different nations and cultures through exchanges and cooperation; inform the public about its objectives, its instruments of promotion, and the use of its assets; collaborate and maintain contact with partners to fulfill shared goals; use its assets responsibly and efficiently and expect its partners to do likewise; develop quality standards and aligns its actions with these standards.
Develop centres for research, education, and exchanges, in order to promote peace through dialogue, allowing us to go beyond identity-related tensions, foster dialogue and interreligious research in an interdisciplinary perspective, and share and transmit the universal values of Judaism.
Serve Islam and humanity at large; promote awareness of Islam and Islamic thought; rectify unsound ideas and misconceptions about Islam; highlight the Islamic intellectual contribution and its impact on human civilisation; deepen the dialogue and foster cooperation between the schools of Islamic jurisprudence; highlight the achievements of Aal al-Bayt and their calling for middle ground, moderation and tolerance; foster the encounter of Muslim scholars, the strengthening of their intellectual links and exchange of opinions; cooperate with research centres, institutes, academic entities and universities in accordance with the objectives of the Institute.
Foster intercultural dialogue, stimulate thinking and exchange of opinions on supporting and fostering democracy and peace, and provide a common platform for education and information exchange.
Seek to deepen the faith of Palestinian Christians, to promote unity among them and lead them to act for justice and peace; Strive to develop a spirituality based on love, justice, peace, nonviolence, liberation and reconciliation for the different national and faith communities; Work to promote a more accurate international awareness regarding the identity, presence and witness of Palestinian Christians as well as their contemporary concerns. Encourage individuals and groups from around the world to work for a just, comprehensive and enduring peace informed by truth and empowered by prayer and action.
Work and publish extensively on Arab-Israeli dialogue and peacebuilding efforts, the application of conflict resolution models in Muslim communities, inter-religious dialogue and conflict resolution training, and evaluation of conflict resolution programmes to establish an organisation that can promote values of pluralism, non-violence, and human rights with an authentic Islamic and interfaith voice all over the world.
Serve in creative and new endeavours where the Gospel has not been heard; collaborate with a local church that invites our presence; live simply and in solidarity with the poor and marginalised people of the world and to work on behalf of justice; encounter and celebrate God's presence in the life, history, culture and faiths of the people among whom we live; collaborate with churches in Canada, generating enthusiasm for global mission and in promoting Gospel values.
