To Provide a platform for interaction between different Jain communities and organisations, where all sectarian traditions jointly promote the faith and engage in discussions amongst themselves, encouraging Jain unity to promote interfaith relationships to create a better understanding of the Jain faith and to acquaint the Jain community with other faiths. Create an awareness of the history, art, philosophy, and practices of Jain faith, including its relevance to today's world, particularly with regard to the respect for all living beings and the environment, provide opportunities for study of the faith, both at the community level and at institutions of higher learning, and to facilitate scholarly research on Jainism through the establishment of scholarships. Undertake the cataloguing and digitisation of Jain manuscripts and artefacts.

Promote the theological formation of the laity; promote dialogue between faith and culture; prepare religion teachers for schools; provide training to train the permanent diaconate and the various ecclesial ministries and services in the parishes, movements and communities of the Diocese.

Advance social cohesion via personal interaction by promoting respect and mutual understanding among people of all cultures and faiths through dialogue and partnership; promote enduring interfaith and intercultural cooperation, tolerance and dialogue by sharing our differences and similarities in an effort to enhance civil society; promote the development of human values; advance diversity and multiculturalism in the society; eliminate or reduce false stereotypes, prejudices and unjustified fears through direct human communication; contribute to improvement of diversity, pluralism and multiculturalism throughout Canada.

Intercultural Dialogue Institute aims to promote enduring interfaith and intercultural cooperation, tolerance and dialogue by sharing our differences and similarities in an effort to enhance civil society, to promote the development of human values, and to advance diversity and multiculturalism in the society. The Institute aims to eliminate or reduce false stereotypes, prejudices and unjustified fears through direct human communication. By this mission IDI aims to contribute to improvement of diversity, pluralism and multiculturalism throughout Canada.

Contribute to a peaceful transformation of inter-religious and social conflicts in the particpating program countries of Asia.

Promote peace in the Middle East through interfaith dialogue and cross-cultural study.

Create a peaceful society through non-violence and strategic engagement in Nigeria and beyond; apply our interfaith approach; ensure peaceful coexistence irrespective of religious persuasion; and respect the faith of others.

Provide a forum for different religions to dialogue with one another on matters of religious, national and civic importance; support a wider interfaith dialogue with other religion and belief groups; support educational activities in connection with interfaith dialogue; encourage civic engagement by religious communities in Scotland and to support religious equality.

Promote friendship and cooperation between like-minded women; channel the communication of those striving for a liberal religious life.

Develop alternative methods of preventing and resolving interethnic and interreligious conflicts in countries around the world.
