Promote research and ways of developing interreligious understanding and cooperation.

Introduce Islam and its international values and principles; promote cooperation among people and resistance to all reasons for family disintegration and social decadence; assure the importance of the environment and work to resist all reasons for corruption and pollution.

Strongly encourage inter-religious dialogue and contact, 'Tolerance, understanding and cooperation' is our vision for today's world and the message we seek to convey to believers of all religions; develop and promote the spirit of brotherhood and understanding among Scouts of the Orthodox Christian Faith; promote warm relations and co-operation between Scouting and the official local Orthodox Churches; develop an educational curriculum that should enhance the spiritual dimension in the personalities of young Orthodox in accordance with the purpose, principles, and method of the Scout Movement; introduce Scouting in such states or areas where Orthodox Church is established; co-ordinate the activities of DESMOS with non-Scout Organisations having the same objectives; motivate co-operation among DESMOS members; motivate and promote Scouting to Orthodox boys and girls on global basis.

Develop public awareness about the iniquities and injustices in the existing hegemonic global system; create a better understanding, at the popular level, of how control and domination of the global system by a privileged minority challenges human dignity and social justice everywhere; nurture a deeper appreciation among people of the urgent need for alternative institutions and arrangements at the global level which are more conducive to the emergence of a just world; raise global consciousness on the crucial importance of fostering attitudes, values and ideals at both the personal and community level which will help attain and sustain a just world; inculcate within the human family, a universal, spiritual and moral vision of life rooted in God Consciousness which will serve to guide humankind in its quest for a just world.

Promote the student apostolate among students in higher education stressing their responsibility in life, in the Church’s mission and in the world; recognize the problems of justice, a recognition which is vital to the transformation of society, and work with all concerned women and men for joint action and reflection leading to a more just and equitable social order at all levels: national, continental and international; further the Christian faith experience lived in one’s own commitment and to try to communicate this faith to the student milieu by bearing witness to Jesus Christ; encourage pedagogies of action which help students integrate their Christian faith in their efforts to build a more just society.

Promote inter-religious dialogue, human rights, reconciliation, peace and justice; organise and participation in manifestations related to promotion of inter-religious dialogue; organise and support activities related to inter-religious dialogue, human rights, peace and reconciliation; support developing reform of education in cooperation with state institutions, local and international institutions and organisations; establish educational centres, in cooperation with educational and cultural institutions, that will offer programmes for intercultural, multireligious and civic education, primarily of the youth; support processes of democratisation in Bosnia and Herzegovina: improve and respect human rights, cultural, ethnical, religious and other specificities and differences; promote and support scientific and research works; publish scientific and research materials for educative and non-commercial goals; promote and encourage research and scientific activities of both individuals and scientific-research teams, and cooperate with institutes, libraries, universities and similar institutions.

Promote understanding and cooperation among Buddhist countries, Buddhist sects, and socially conscious Buddhist groups; identify and address the structural and personal suffering facing our communities, societies, and the world; articulate the perspective of engaged Buddhism regarding this suffering, and to train Buddhist activists to respond effectively; serve as a network of information and resources on engaged Buddhism; cooperate and collaborate with activists from other spiritual traditions and social change organisations.

Accompany organisational processes in defence of human rights and be physically and visibly present in the moments and places of highest tension so as to try to prevent repression and violence, such that threatened persons and organisations can continue their work to promote peace and human rights; expose the causes and consequences of, as well as responses to, socio-political conflict in Chiapas as well as in Oaxaca and Guerrero, with the intent of raising awareness and mobilising actors at local, national, and international levels to seek out non-violent solutions; work to strengthen the capacities of local groups, social agents—female and male—who work in defence of human rights and towards transformation of their conflicts in order to achieve a positive peace, and to promote and strengthen spaces for coming together and movement building.

Introduce the qualities of Shinto (Japan's indigenous religion); disseminate Japanese culture; to organise symposiums on Shinto; promote the establishment of Shinto chairs at universities and other institutions; establish an international Shinto library; promote the publication of books on Shinto and produce a comprehensive Shinto dictionary in the English language; offer venues for the discussion of Shinto research; encourage the study of Shinto; produce literature and organise event which will enhance better understanding of Shinto; do any other act or thing incidental to or connected with the foregoing purposes or in advancement thereof, and solicit contributions, receive and maintain fund of real or personal property, or both and subject to the restrictions and limitations hereinafter act forth, use and apply the whole or any part of the income therefrom and the principal thereof exclusively for religious, charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes.

ADIC aims to build relationships among the three monotheistic religions through colloquia, public statements, and educational programs. ADIC puts a premium on the values that all religions, spiritual groups and cultures share, such as compassion, forgiveness, justice, charity and peace. Also aims to create mutual knowledge among believers in order to clear away preconceptions and to establish respect, to develop common actions that will create social and international solidarity, to awaken consciences and mobilize forces so that humanity may take its destiny in hand. Primary Objectives of ADIC: 1- To provide frameworks for reflection, study and research on any questions related to the dialogue among different cultures and spiritualties; 2- To lead activities promoting education and peace, especially regarding exchanges between Muslim, Christians, Jews, and other spiritual families; 3- To provide a forum for spiritual leaders and media experts to realize similar goals.
