Apply tenets of Humanistic Buddhism to benefit society through promoting education, raising gender equality, providing medical services and emergency relief, and supporting environmental sustainability.

Increase power and influence, so that women and men in the poorest and most disadvantaged communities area able to influence the systems, decisions and resources affecting them, living under governments, institutions and global structures that are just and accountable; promote sustainable development, so that women and men in the poorest and most disadvantaged communities live in a just and more equal world, realising their rights and accessing the essential services and resources they need to live sustainably and with dignity; achieve peace, security and recovery, so that women and men in the poorest and most disadvantaged communities live in safe and secure environments and are able to minimise, survive and recover from crises; build partnerships in the Catholic community, so that Catholics in England and Wales are inspired to challenge global poverty and injustice through prayer, action and giving, so transforming their own lives.

Fight against hunger and for development, implying a constant struggle against injustice and for the respect of Human and Peoples' Rights; promote, at local and national levels, the means by which the French people and the peoples of developing countries manifest material, financial, human and spiritual solidarity between them; strengthen and increase cooperation with developing countries; raise public awareness in order to support national and international operations, including those of FAO and other UN specialised agencies; pursue educational action and animation in order to engage effectively and permanently a greater number of people in organisations and institutions which, directly or indirectly, struggle to bring about development; provoke reflection and direct action on behaviours and initiatives that could be taken at all levels, in all sectors, by institutions in which Christians are engaged.

Assist the poor and vulnerable overseas; cherish, preserve and uphold the sacredness and dignity of all human life, foster charity and justice, and embody Catholic social and moral teaching as we act to promote human development by responding to major emergencies, fighting disease and poverty, and nurturing peaceful and just societies, and serve Catholics in the United States as they live their faith in solidarity with their brothers and sisters around the world; assist people on the basis of need, not creed, race or nationality.

Prepare a toolkit on climate change that draws from scripture and Catholic social teaching; establish and build relationships with like-minded partners; train young Catholics in advocacy on environmental sustainability; link different initiatives on the continent; encourage young people to act in their parishes, schools and within their youth movements by developing appropriate sustainable practices to conserve resources.

Create a confidential space free from judgment, where each individual can speak freely regardless of their cultural, spiritual, social or economic background; encourage individuals and organizations to act according to a common set of human values.

Counteract media bias and bridge inter-communal gaps within the Middle East and the Arab World and the West; Contribute to the prosperity and stability of the region and in particular Egypt.

Promote peacebuilding practices and research with a global perspective.
