Inspire and empower God's family in AMECEA to a credible and prophetic witness to Christ by promoting unity, justice, peace, and solidarity through deeper evangelisation, constant conversion and prayer, inculturation, ecumenism and inter-religious dialogue; relevant formation of all agents of evangelisation; revitalisation, and continued emphasis on the role of the small Christian communities in evangelisation; preferential option for the poor, oppressed, and marginalised, particularly refugees, persons affected and infected with HIV/AIDS, and internally displaced people; empowering the laity and the religious men and women to play their active roles in the Church and society; self-reliance in personnel and finances at all levels; networking, effective communication and advocacy; poverty eradication, sustainable development, and relevant response to all issues affecting God's family.

Favour reflection on Jesuit educational ideals and their implementation in each partner university; promote the integration of our universities and our countries in their aim of transforming social structures in favour of the poor; exchange our resources and experiences to foster academic excellence; collaborate with the Provincial Conference for Latin America (CPAL) in order to promote actions to define the apostolic mission of the partner universities and to ensure that they are consistent with Christianity and with the principles and responsibility that characterise the Society of Jesus; promote with the CPAL the intellectual apostolate university vocation of lay people and Jesuits; contribute to the exchange of academic staff, beyond the national borders, to foster a more Latin American and universal vision and practice; establish a process to collect, concentrate, and disseminate information in exchange with our partner universities to foundations and institutions that can provide support to the university tasks.

Build bridges break down walls; mobilise young people to join Bridgebuilders Clubs; train them using our Bridgebuilders Curriculum and hands-on, cross-cultural experiences; send them out, or perhaps back to their own communities, to be ambassadors of change who make a positive difference in their world; supports these youth in Regional Support Team; enable them to be successful in their bridgebuilding mission.

Facilitate dialogue and bridge cultures from both sides of the Atlantic.

Contribute to the collective shaping of attitudes needed to advance global prosperity and justice.

Work for peace, poverty eradication, empowerment of youth and women, justice and human rights worldwide; engage with leaders, youth, academia, international organizations and civil society at all levels to resolve crisis and conflicts and address some root causes hindering the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Mediate for peace, social cohesion and development; promote women and men of different faiths; promote a spirit of unity for women and men of different beliefs; promote an ethic of brotherhood and solidarity; promote the education of children in difficult access areas; promote love of neighbor, accepting the difference and promote the respect for others; promote human dignity through spiritual, moral and civic awareness; and awareness of men and women on issues of justice, peace and defense of the oppressed.

Dedicate to the interdisciplinary study of religion, ethics, and public life; explore global challenges of democracy and human rights, economic and social development, international diplomacy, and interreligious understanding through research, teaching, and service.

Provide quality higher education to the people of the State of Palestine; serve them in its role as a center for the advancement, sharing and use of knowledge.

Publish and achieve the widest possible, effective and meaningful distribution of the Holy Scriptures in a language and media that meets the needs of the people it serves, at prices people can afford, and encouraging people to read the Scriptures, and helping them interact with the Word of God; seek to carry out its task through raising resources, and in partnership and cooperation with all churches and Christian organizations.
