Cultivate peace and justice by engaging people to bridge religious and cultural differences and work together for the good of their communities and the world; engage in community action such as conflict resolution and reconciliation, environmental sustainability, education, women's and youth programmes, and advocacy for human rights.
Transform, alleviate, educate and protect the lives of underprivileged, individuals and minority communities impacted by disasters, natural or man-made, suffering from hunger, illiteracy, diseases, or from violation of civil and human-rights into informed and vibrant members of society by fostering sustainable programs regardless of color, race, religion or creed.
Promote the greater good which the Church offers humankind, especially through forms and programmes of the apostolate fittingly adapted to the circumstances of time and place.
Build a world of peace in which everyone can live in freedom, harmony, cooperation and prosperity; advocate renewal of the United Nations, including a proposal that the UN create an interreligious council within its structures; implement its programs through a global network of Ambassadors for Peace; encourage all religions to dialogue and cooperate for peace based upon the recognition that human dignity derives from a universal divine source that is the basis of harmony and unification; offer relief and humanitarian programs, service-learning projets, character education and sports programs with a special focus on personal leadership and peacemaking skills.
Provide more opportunities for girls and young women to grow and lead through the programmes and methods based on the fundamental principles of Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting; empower girls and young women to be agents of change in the world through the programmes and methods based on the fundamental principles of Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting.
Guide the Islamic work and activities; organise the efforts of the Islamic Ummah (nation) to be in service to just Islamic issues; develop Islamic action to match the divine mission of the the Islamic civilisation; assure unity of the human family; achieve the understanding among people; activate the divine values to achieve human dignity; achieve security and justice on the earth according to will of Almighty Allah.
Serve as a resource to the United Nations and its agencies around the world, nation states and other international organisations, offering the collective wisdom and resources of the faith traditions toward the resolution of critical global problems.
Foster the unity and represent the interests of the Jewish people, and ensure the continuity and development of its religious, spiritual, cultural, and social heritage; enhance solidarity among Jewish communities throughout the world and strengthen the bonds of Jewish communities and Jews in the Diaspora with Israel; secure the rights, status and interests of Jews and Jewish communities and defend them wherever they are denied, violated or threatened; encourage and assist the creative development of Jewish social, religious, and cultural life throughout the world, support Jewish education and the development of Jewish values, and ensure Jewish continuity and the transmittal of Jewish legacy from one generation to another; assist Jewish communities in strengthening their Jewish identities and in confronting problems in the political, legal, social, religious, cultural or economic spheres; represent and act on behalf of Member Communities and the Jewish people as a whole vis-à-vis governments, governmental authorities, international and intergovernmental organisations and authorities, non-governmental organisations, inter-faith groups, other faiths and civic bodies; preserve the memory of the Holocaust and of the millions of Jews and countless Jewish communities destroyed during the Shoah, and advocate on behalf of its survivors and their families; combat anti-Semitism in all its manifestations and raise the consciousness of the public at large to the dangers inherent in any incitement to religious, racial, or ethnic intolerance, oppression or persecution; foster, support and participate in inter-faith dialogue; encourage and promote gender equality and the involvement of younger Jews in Jewish communal and organisational leadership; cooperate with governments, nations, organisations, and individuals, to accomplish the above goals in the spirit of peace, freedom, equality and justice.
Strengthen both National Scout organisations and World Scouting through the influence of parliamentarians who believe in Scouting as an effective non-formal educational method and Movement; encourage the formation of National Scout Parliamentary Associations; open doors and give the Scout Movement access to decision-makers involved in problems directly concerning young people and the communities in which they live.
Promote the presence, participation and co-responsibility of Catholic women in society and the Church, in order to enable them to fulfil their mission of evangelisation; work for human development, particularly in increasing educational opportunities, poverty reduction and the advancement of human rights beginning with the fundamental right to life; promote the formation of women to meet contemporary challenges; foster awareness and respect of cultural diversity; promote the international dimension within its Member Organisations; co-ordinate activities of Member Organisations at the international level; present the positions of WUCWO and represent the Member Organisations to international bodies; network with other international organisations and faith communities for the respect of human rights especially for women; encourage ecumenical and interreligious dialogue.
