Combat negative stereotypes and provide an American Muslim voice in speaking out against extremism and terrorism; support human and civil rights activists and programmes in the Middle East and North Africa through its international bureaus and numerous programmes, conferences, and training workshops; change the discourse both within the American Muslim community and in American society in general by organising numerous interfaith and interethnic events, providing discussion guides and educational curriculum to the public, and launching a student-led campus initiative that offers an alternative Muslim voice and a civic identity grounded in pluralism and progressive thinking.

Advocate for the preservation of the founding principles of the United States Constitution, liberty and freedom, through the separation of mosque and state.

Enhance the well-being of the Jewish people and Israel, and advance human rights and democratic values in the United States and around the world.

Proclaim and celebrate the gospel of Jesus Christ in worship and action; value the heritage of biblical faith, reason, liturgy, tradition, bishops and synods, and the rich variety of life in the community; acknowledge that God is calling us to greater diversity of membership, wider participation in ministry and leadership, better stewardship in God's creation and a stronger resolve in challenging attitudes and structures that cause injustice; commit to respond to the call in love and service and so more fully live the life of Christ.

Bring people together from across the Mediterranean to improve mutual respect between cultures and to support civil society working for a common future for the region; contribute to the development of an Intercultural Strategy for the Euro-Mediterranean Region, providing recommendations to decision-makers and institutions and advocating for shared values; overcome the misunderstandings and stereotypes which affect relations between and within the societies of the region; restore trust in dialogue and bridge the gaps in mutual perceptions, as well as promoting diversity and coexistence.

Committing to the continuing value of the constantly new sowing and planting, the growing and ripening, the nursing and harvesting - in spite of all current and future disorders, disasters and death.

Work together to address internal concerns and face the external dangers that threaten the people, Muslims and Christians, of the one Arab homeland; form an alliance to fulfil the obligation toward the Arab nation and homeland; help foster national unity and strengthen a sense of belonging to one nation embracing all its citizens no matter their religious affiliations; help to transcend confessional or clannish partisanship so that, all together, people might work for the nation as a whole.

Contribute to the nurturing of youth, help build a better world where people can fulfill their potentials and make effective contributions towards building society, become the world's leading youth nurturing movement, and empower 100 million youth to bringing about positive change to their communities and globally based on shared values.

Study the economic, social and cultural relations in the Arab world, and examine them with other countries in order to strengthen dialogue and promote cooperation, in ways that serve mutual interests; contribute to the formation of an Arab scientific stance towards development problems so as to achieve an effective contribution towards the formulation of global order, and place international relations on a fair and equal basis that serves economic integration; build bridges between thought leaders and decision-makers in the Arab world to serve cooperation among them in public policies, and ensure public participation; focus attention towards future studies relating to the affairs of Arab countries and their international relations.

Share the gospel in a religiously diverse and secularized world; encourage people to understand and experience God's vulnerable love in Christ through Areopagos' work in Scandinavia, China and Hong Kong; create meeting places, strengthen networks and promote work characterized by Christian specialization and respect for other people's experiences of spirituality.
