Promote peacebuilding, equal citizenship, and human rights for marginalised people in the Middle East, particularly women and youth, the impoverished, and other vulnerable groups; create common spaces for dialogue; build the capacity of community and civil society groups to be catalysts for peace, with a focus on women and youth; develop grassroots leaders, especially women and youth, who will mobilise their communities and civil society organisations to play an active role in building a culture of peace and dialogue; create spaces of dialogue and understanding for people of different faiths, ethnicities and nationalities to break down barriers of mistrust and create bonds of peace.
The message and vision of the Forum, which has been published since its inception, is based on the following principles: confirming the priority of peace, the spirit of firefighter, strengthening the role of the world, correcting concepts, and reviving values such as cooperation and solidarity, the brotherhood of humanity, wisdom, interest, justice, mercy, patience, the value of tolerance, the value of dialogue, and the value of moderation.
Pursue the foundation's mission to promote and strengthen democracy by providing political education, political advice as well as international collaboration; be active at the interfaces between political practice, science, the trade union movement, civil society and the economy; foster gifted students and postgraduates from Germany and abroad; preserve the collective memory and historic foundations of Social Democracy and trade unions, and make these accessible to the public.
Encourage fellowship among all the branches of the Religious Society of Friends.
Listen and build relationships with young people; ignite their passion and create communities where young people are heard, considered and developed; work for society to take young people's opinions and ideas seriously; work with all young people, focusing especially on those living in or at risk of exclusion; believe that everyone can succeed and deserve another chance; give young people the tools to take control of their future by taking advantage of their inner strength and motivation; listen to what is happening and are quick to act; see opportunities where others see problems; be bold enough to dare to create change.
Dedicated to ecumenical matters and the Eastern Churches; promote dialogue between East and West; represent the interests of socially disadvantaged groups and individuals in Eastern Europe.
Empower youth to lead and cascade sustainable change in communities experiencing conflict, through world-class free education in conflict transformation and the use of sport, art, advocacy, dialogue, and empowerment for peacebuilding.
Advocate respect for human rights, equal opportunities and integrity; support the rule of law and civic participation and are committed to ensuring fair negotiation processes, both within and outside the company; promote a market-oriented, ecological and social economic order and observe the principles of corporate responsibility in our work.
