Fulfill the ultimate purpose of the worship of the one Creator through the consciousness of God that informs and substantiates all aspects of the Cordoba House; establish a compassionate and inclusive community of believing men and women - endowed with an understanding of Islam with care and love for one another, and for their families, and their community and for society at large; develop programs that propagate a spiritually sensitive and moderate understanding and practice of Islam within the American context - with the intent of developing an American Muslim identity that is both unique and enriching to the global Muslim community or the Umma; create lasting relationships with the interfaith community through outreach and joint cultural and social programs that cultivate an understanding and appreciation of other communities of faith and cultures; and establish a model Islamic center in New York City—the Cordoba House—that expresses and impresses this vision and mission.

Provide a vehicle for exchange of information, cooperation, and mutual enrichment among centres and institutes for Christian-Jewish studies and relations in the United States and Canada; promote research and publication on the history, theology, and contemporary realities of Jewish-Christian relations; foster mutual understanding between Christians and Jews through dialogue that respects Judaism and Christianity in their religious distinctiveness and integrity; relate to similar undertakings in other parts of the world through membership in the International Council of Christians and Jews.
Advocate freedom of expression and of the media, freedom of assembly, equality, and the protection of minorities; help member states fight corruption and terrorism and undertake necessary judicial reforms; promote human rights through international conventions; monitor member states' progress in these areas and make recommendations through independent expert monitoring bodies.
Be an organ of communion between the Bishops' Conferences of Europe which has as its end the promotion and conservation of the good of the Church; exercise the collegiality in hierarchical communion cum et sub romano pontefice; realize the closer communication and co-operation between the European Bishops and Episcopal Conferences, respectful of the function and proper jurisdiction of each, to promote and inspire the new evangelisation in the European arena; promote the communion with the Councils of Bishops' Conferences of other continents; support the ecumenical collaboration in Europe, to re-establish Christian unity; be a living ecclesial witness in European society.
Maintain a permanent relationship and open channels of communication between religious leaders in the Holy Land in order for them to reflect together as believers, on main issues of conflict between our peoples; sustain close working relationship with the political leadership of the Government of Israel and the Palestinian National Authority, especially on issues related to the role of religion and religious communities; engage with our respective communities in the Holy Land in order to promote peace and justice, foster, on grassroots and national levels, an environment of mutual acceptance and respect; engage with religious leaders internationally and particularly in the Middle East, in pursuit of a durable and just peace in the Holy Land.
Dedicate to the study and research in the field of religious studies and fosters mutual understanding, cooperation, and respect among people of different religious traditions both in Thailand and throughout the world, so that common concerns might be creatively addressed. In teaching and research, the College also strives to nurture global ethical values and promote peace and human well-being.
Promote and disseminate Jewish culture; promote the implementation of initiatives that contribute to the development of Jewish culture and foster a greater understanding of Jewish culture.
